How To Learn A Foreign Language?

You can consider yourself a failure if you delay matters with regard to a foreign language course where it is compulsory for every student to plug in a minimum of 3 hours weekly and 15 minutes on a daily basis. It is recommended that you cull out all the extra time in your hands and spend it in studying the language but never more than 45 minutes per session.

Fork out your whole study material into several manageable units. It is compulsory to attend regular classes to pass especially if you have taken the learning seriously. Some occasional review of all material you have learned previously is also very important to your success - for example, the vocabulary. Hints given blow would make your attempt to learn the foreign language easier.
Comprehending the printed materials: Concentrate on reading for comprehension without looking up every unfamiliar word. Read the chapters of the text book in small bits every day.
Start to communicate: Do not feel embarrassed if you make mistakes, simply hear what others are talking about and start to speak. You can start practicing the foreign language by talking to your self, talking to others who are in the same class or even with your pet dog or cat.
Putting it down on paper: Practice your writing skills every day until they become more natural.
Take a dictation of a small portion of the language from a friend and then check it for correctness.

Know what you plan to learn and how you will get there successfully. {1.f you need help get it and do not be afraid to ask questions or ask for help for fear of sounding stupid, or being embarrassed.} 1.Do not feel shy or embarrassed to seek help when you want it. {2.Get audio tapes of the language and listen to them or make you own tapes and listened to yourself in order to perfect your pronunciation.} The only way you can have correct pronunciation is to listen to audio tapes of the language or record something yourself and then listen to them. 3.Try making colored flash cards for improving vocabulary where you use different colors for the different genders and categories of words like nouns, verbs, etc. 4.If you practice studying in groups, you can make good friends with your classmates which would be eager to help you out.
